Since our first catastrophe in 1991, we’ve grown from a small daily claims shop to a premier full-service adjusting firm and evolved into an insurtech claims solution firm.

We partner with carriers of all sizes and various lines of business and are constantly analyzing the systematic and reporting needs of our carrier partners.

Our professional resources are strategically located across the contiguous U.S. and we work with our carrier partners to monitor their exposures.

We’ve worked thousands of catastrophes since 1992 and have a strong daily claims operation as well as a full-service liability department. We maintain a vast roster of adjusters that are available for immediate deployment nationwide.

Meet the team

Kevin started his career in the insurance business in 2002 working for a major insurance carrier in TX. Perspective gained from 10 years on the carrier side contribute to his well-rounded approach to handling insurance claims. He joined Brush as VP of Catastrophe Operations in 2012 and became CEO in 2018. In addition to achieving the CPCU, ARM, and AIC designations, Kevin has a marketing degree from Texas State University and an MBA from the University of North Texas.

Troy found his way into property adjusting through his love of design-build construction. With that knowledge and a customer-centric mindset, he quickly rose as a top performer in the field. In 2012, Troy became the VP of Daily Claims, developing our Quality Control Program and ensuring our field training was first-rate. He has been instrumental in the growth of Brush, launching new technology initiatives and service offerings. In his free time, Troy enjoys spending time with his wife, playing sports with his kids, gym time and hunting.

Clay joined Brush as our Chief Claims Officer after experiencing tremendous success growing the claims operation of a startup insurance company as their first VP of Claims. He has held numerous leadership roles over the last ten years, leveraging his knowledge of construction and insurance and his experience as a commercial GA. When not doing all things claims, Clay enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids and thinks that any day on the water is a good day!

Maribel's focus on streamlined methodologies and her implementation of integrated systems management allows Brush to operate efficiently and make decisions effectively. Her expert handling of our Financial Operations has given Brush the space required to grow year after year. Maribel graduated from the University of Puerto Rico and ICPR with a degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Finance.

Chris began his insurance career in 2004 after honorably discharging from the United States Army and immediately tested his skills when four major hurricanes hit Florida. Chris has handled more than 10,000 claims and complex commercial losses of more than $25 million. Chris earned his EGA from a large commercial carrier and is a certified windstorm appraiser and mediator.

Branton serves as our Client Director with over 11 years of unique industry experience having previously owned an Insurance agency, leading multiple independent adjusting catastrophe teams, and serving as a corporate trainer for one of FL's largest homeowners insurance companies. His expertise and customer focus allows for him to develop meaningful and strategic relationships that will further the reach of Brush's services. Branton enjoys weekends at the beach, woodworking, and cheering on the Tampa Bay Lightning!

Jackie is a liability claims specialist who started her adventure in the claims industry in 2001. Beginning her career as an independent field adjuster, she gained knowledge and experience with various types of casualty claims. As our Liability Claims Manager, Jackie oversees all liability operations and manages a team of professionals across the country ensuring every detail of each claim is handled expertly. When she is not diving into claims, Jackie enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and four children.

Courtney joined Brush as a Claims Supervisor in 2020. She comes to the table with phenomenal communication skills and an eagerness to learn that will breathe life into her newly created position as Claims Coordinator. Courtney has a background in operations with a high emphasis on customer service. She genuinely loves getting to know people and believes in making them feel welcomed like family. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time with her husband and their two daughters.

With roots as a diligent Desk Adjuster, Stacey honed her craft for 12 years, meticulously analyzing data and managing accounts with precision. Transitioning into the role of Customer Experience (CX) Manager, Stacey showed her innate talent for fostering client satisfaction. Today, Stacey exemplifies versatility and adaptability, undertaking crucial tasks by ensuring regulatory compliance and recruiting top-tier talent.
