Brush Country Claims Wins Spot in Prestigious Innovation Lab
We’re honored to announce that we’ve earned a spot in the fall 2021 seventh cohort of the Lloyd’s Lab!
For the past three years, Lloyd’s of London — one of the world’s most respected insurance marketplaces — has convened small groups of industry leaders for an intensive 10-week program exploring innovative solutions to solve gaps in the insurance industry.
Competition for spots in the innovation lab is fierce: More than 170 companies applied this summer for only a handful of spots, and of that number, 24 finalists were invited to pitch their vision directly to a panel of Lloyd’s Lab’s experts in July. Only 11 received an invitation to participate.
As part of the seventh Lloyd’s Lab cohort, we join 10 other insurance companies from around the world to focus on advancements in cryptocurrency, data modeling, small enterprises, and claims management. The accelerator gives participants access to invaluable industry mentorship and networking, the potential for funding, and the chance to develop our ideas alongside our target audience. Starting Sept. 6, Brush Country Claims’ President and Chief Operating Officer Troy Stewart and Chief Strategy Officer Joshua Cruce will work with market experts to explore ways to expand Hubvia, our new proprietary claims management system, and support Lloyd’s customers around the globe.
Participating in this renowned accelerator doesn’t just set us apart as one of the world’s top insurtech companies. It also helps position us to increase our vast roster of adjusters and add innovative features to our suite of solutions.
“We have a clear path ahead to drive further growth, innovation, and client management,” Troy says. “We’re honored to have been chosen, and we’re looking forward to all our team will learn through the Lloyd’s Lab.” For over 30 years, we’ve prided ourselves on delivering world-class customer service while staying ahead of industry innovation at the forefront of the insurtech revolution. Throughout these next 10 weeks, we’ll continue to improve and refine HUBVIA, which streamlines and automates claims processes and communications.
